「Ayumi’s French Style」は、通訳ガイドで作家として活動する生島あゆみ（Ayumi Ikushima）が、フランス各地で出会った美しい感性と、日本の伝統文化を「アート」という形でお届けするセレクトショップです。長年のフローリストとしてのキャリアも生かした商品作りも展開しています。

■ Ayumi’s Original Art (French Sketches)
作家としての創作活動の傍ら、フランス滞在中に各地の友人たちを訪ね歩く旅の中で描き留めた、オリジナルのデッサンやイラストのコレクションです。フランスの街角や風景の中で感じた光、空気、そして人々の息遣いを、私自身の感性で表現しました。
繊細なタッチで描かれた一枚のアートは、日常に豊かな彩りとインスピレーションをもたらします。

■ Ayumi’s Flower style (Dried flower swag & wreath)
母親の影響で、中学生からフラワーアレンジメントに触れていました。フランス、ドイツ、イギリスで現地のフローリストについて花の修行もしていたので、香りも楽しめるオリジナルドライスワッグやリースもご紹介していきます。

■ Artist Selection (from France)
フランス各地で活動する友人アーティストたちの作品を厳選したコレクションです。
Caro（カロ）をはじめ、私が一人の表現者として心から惹かれたアーティストたちの手仕事の温もりと、世界にひとつという贅沢を、フランスから直接お届けします。今後も、各地の友人たちの新たな作品を順次ご紹介していく予定です。

■ 文化を綴る、一冊の形
私自身、これまでに3冊の著作を上梓してまいりました。言葉や表現を通じて、目に見えない美しさや文化の神髄を伝えること。その想いは、当ショップでご紹介するアートや厳選した書籍にも共通しています。

■ KYOTO EYE (The Essence of Kyoto Aesthetics)
As the author of Kyoto Kanko (Kyoto’s world of fragrance), I have long explored the invisible beauty and spiritual depth of Japan’s ancient capital. Under the "Kyoto Eye" label, I offer a curated collection that embodies these traditional aesthetics. This begins with my English publication on Noh theater, designed to bring the profound world of Japanese performing arts to a global audience. My mission is to provide international visitors and art lovers with a piece of Kyoto’s serene spirit. I look forward to introducing more Kyoto-inspired creations that bridge the gap between tradition and modern lifestyle in the near future.

Ayumi is the author of three published works, including Kyoto's World of Fragrance. Dividing her time between France and Japan, she dedicates herself to bridging the aesthetic values of both cultures. Her work is a unique fusion of literary expression, floral artistry, and a deep, meditative gaze into the traditional spirit of Kyoto.
